Abe the Babe and Tiger Woods

Ryan, Beth, and Abe at the San Diego Zoo

Abe when Ryan told him that he could go to the US Open.

(No cameras were allowed. The proof will be in Abe's swing)

Ryan, Abe, and I (Beth), just got back from San Diego a few weeks ago. It was Abe's first plane ride and his first encounter with a golf course, Ryan said that you are never to young to start learning. We went to Torrey Pines to see Tiger Woods play in the US Open. It was so fun to see Tiger up close and personal. Abe was really good and quiet the whole time except for a small grunt during Tiger's warm up swing, I think the Babe was secretly rooting for Rocco. We had a great time! This was such a great idea to keep us all linc-ed together! I love to see pictures of all the cousins and their cute kids!

The Carr Family (Jessica)

I thought I'd be the second person to post on the blog! I live in Scottsdale, AZ right down the street from Brooke! We have good times together!
We live in Arizona because my husband, Nate started a tax/bankruptcy law firm in Mesa, AZ. He stays extremely busy and will hire on his first associate the beginning of August.
I am a stay-at-home mother, but I do work part time at pottery barn kids. I have recently gotten back into reading after taking a hiatus for some reason. I love the books, These is My Words, and Sarah's Quilt by Nancy Turner. And anything written by Maeve Binchy. You have to read These is My Words!!!! Alisa, (Jono's wife) told me about the book and I read it in one day!
Ben is our only child and he turned three the end of June. I'm now thinking that it's not the "terrible twos," but the "terrible threes." Just Kidding! He is a sweet boy who loves everything cars, trains and lately, Kung Fu Panda, Transformers and Wall-E.
Call if you ever come to AZ.....Jeff and Ryan! My husband saw you at the F.B.R. golf tournament! I thought you would have called your favorite cousin-ME! :) HA HA I could have taken you to Last Chance! It's right up your alley.
Well, hopefully, I'll see everyone at the reunion.

The Garlock Family

So, I thought I would post the first post. This is my family. Troy and I have been married for 4 1/2 years. We live right now in Scottsdale, AZ. Troy is self-employed with his dad. They have a construction company called Garlock Custom Contracting. I stay at home with our children. Parker is 3 years old. He loves to wrestle, he LOVES octopuses, he LOVES to swim and is pretty good at it. He is very energetic. He loves to ask 100 questions in about 30 seconds. He is a super fun boy. Then there is Abigail, she is 19 months. She is pretty much Daddy's Little Girl. She loves to play whatever Parker is playing and thinks she is three. She LOVES to swim and is getting better and better. She is a little chubby girl with great big blue eyes! She has a temper that can spark at a drop of a hat. She also loves to talk to Grandpa Gardner on the phone! When Abigail smiles, she does this cheeseball grin that is so funny! Last but not least ANY DAY we will be having another little girl. We haven't thought of a name, but if you check the blog frequently, then I will post when she is born! Here are a few pictures of our family!
This is Abigail and Troy at the circus. If you notice the cut on Troy's forehead, he got elbowed playing basketball and sliced it open. He didn't want to get stitches because he didn't want to wait and fill out paper work! So, he has a nice scar right above is eye!
This is Parker swimming! He is loves it. Troys family has a pool and we go quite a bit!
This is Parker and Abigail. They were playing "camping" and would pretend they were in the tent!

Troy and Parker wakeboarding. He loves to wakeboard with his dad! This is the first year he has done this and we for sure thought it would be a couple more years down the road before he would have wanted to do this!
This is our family at the circus!
This is the cheesey face that Abigail does when she smiles! It is everytime!!
Well, that is our family! Hope someone post soons!

We are Gardners

I started this blog after feeling that I feel left out of so many little things and I NEVER know anything. I feel that if you live away from your family that the little things get left out. Like someone having a baby, getting baptized, a mission call or even graduations. There are so many of us that it is hard to keep in contact. I thought this should be a fun way for us to keep better in communication with each other. For all of us to share those happy, proud, sad and fun times we have with our family!

With Love
Brooke Garlock
